Internet Explorer and Outlook Express

Road Runner does not require you to use a specific web browser or email software with the service, but we do make a customized version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser and Outlook Express email client available for you to download for free from our local servers.

IE 6.0 for Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000/NT with SP6

IE 5.1 for Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x

IE 4.0 for 68K Macintosh

Web Browser Plugins

Road Runner does not require you to use any specific web browser plug-ins, but the following plug-ins are widely used on web sites on the Internet, as well as on Road Runner websites. Without these plug-ins, certain types of content (such as streaming video, animation, IPIX panoramas, and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) documents) will not be viewable through your web browser.
